NEIS is excited to announce we are hosting a collaborative panel for August Night with the Experts. Japanese student peace activist Mitsuki Tanaka has worked with several Hibakusha (atomic bomb survivors) through her peace activism in Hiroshima, Japan. Alongside Mitsuki we are also very pleased to be joined by survivor Matsumoto-san, who survived the bombing at the age of 3, as well as third-generation survivors who continue to work towards peace initiatives in honor of their family. All panelists are thrilled to have the opportunity to speak to concerned American citizens about the generational impact of nuclear war, especially because the United States faces a time in which nuclear power is being encouraged and incentivized.
